چکیده
Today, digitalization is affecting all areas of life, such as education or work. The competent use digital systems (esp. information and communication technologies [ICT]) has thus become an essential skill. Despite longstanding research on human-technology interaction diverse theoretical approaches describing competences for interacting with systems, still offers mixed results regarding the structure competences. Self-efficacy described one most critical determinants system use, various self-report scales assessing self-efficacy have been suggested. Yet, these largely differ in their proposed specificity, structure, validation, timeliness. present study aims at providing a systematic overview comparison existing measures (DSE) to current competence frameworks. Further, we newly developed scale that assesses heterogeneous adult populations, theoretically founded DigComp 2.1 social-cognition theory. factorial DSE assessed investigate multidimensionality. validated considering nomological network (actual ICT technophobia). Implications practice are discussed. • Scoping review assess digital/ICT related self-efficacy. Scale development economical multifaceted Validation German population. Measurement invariance testing across gender DigComp-SE scale. Discussion application fields.

The Development and Validation Self-Efficacy Scale
Following from Bandura's (1977a) self-efficacy theory, an Eating SelfEfficacy Scale (ESES) was developed and its psychometric properties established. Factor analysis o f the 25-item scale yielded two reliable factorsone concerned with eating when experiencing negative affect (NA) and the other with eating during socially acceptable circumstances (SAC). The ESES demonstrated good internal consis...
متن کاملDevelopment and Validation of Smoking Abstinence Self-efficacy Scale among Iranian Female Adolescents
Background: Among different factors, self-efficacy is one of the most suitable components for predicting smoking behavior among adolescents. Therefore, it is essential to design a native tool to measure this high-risk behavior in adolescents and implement prevention programs in this age group. Aim: This study aimed to design and validate a smoking abstine...

PURPOSE To develop and examine the psychometric properties of the Daily Living Self-Efficacy Scale (DLSES) designed to assess stroke survivors' self-efficacy in daily functioning. METHOD Two groups of participants (N = 424) were recruited, a stroke survivor group (n = 259) who were recruited through two stroke associations in Australia and a non-stroke group (n = 165) who were the partners/ca...
متن کاملAssessing medication adherence self-efficacy among low-literacy patients: development of a pictographic visual analogue scale.
Health behavior interventions are often grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, but instruments used to assess self-efficacy rely on verbal skills and yield scores that are highly positively skewed. Based on a review of the research literature and qualitative research with key informants, a pictographic medication adherence self-efficacy scale was developed. Two studies were conducted to test the ...
